Ayurvedic Restorative Yoga
Celebrate the cycles of seasonal health through the practice of deep rest. Learn about the cycles of life, and seasons of the year through the lens of yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda. We will use gravity and a whole body relaxation approach to balance and calm your nervous, digestive, and respiratory systems. This time of day is auspicious for bodily rest and mindful self-reflection. Restorative poses are completely supported with props to create a sense of quietude, and poses are held between two and twenty minutes. This style works seamlessly with the rhythm of the day and each season. Appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioner, and modifications given to accommodate specific physical needs.
